Westpark Memorial Park — tombstone regulations and guidelines
The Chevrah Kadisha’s Section E has unique memorial standards. Samcro Memorials understands these local mandates and guarantees every installation adheres to modern policy. Business hours are: Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm. Saturday: 9am - 1pm. Bookings outside of these hours are also available on appointment.
Section E guidelines
At Westpark’s Section E, only low-profile flat markers or slabs under 0.5m in height are allowed. Authorized symbols like the Kohanim hands or Magen David are permitted with approval. All stones must utilize grey granite materials. Historically, these mandates appeared as many relatives relocated from South Africa; neglected vertical stones can topple, creating hazards. Flat designs ensure lasting safety with very little upkeep. Business hours are: Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm. Saturday: 9am - 1pm. Bookings outside of these hours are also available on appointment.
Hebrew lettering regulations
Every Jewish marker must feature Hebrew text detailing the deceased and their parentage. The traditional acronym תנצב״ה is used. Our team validates every layout for precision and correct liturgy, liaising with religious authorities to maintain sanctified standards. Business hours are: Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm. Saturday: 9am - 1pm. Bookings outside of these hours are also available on appointment.
